Exploring the woman who created and characterized some of the greatest music of all time, Nina Simone's incredible artistry is on display in Sing the Truth. Featuring four of today's finest interpretives; Dianne Reeves, Lizz Wright, Joi Gilliam and Lisa Simone Kelly will revisit the words and work of Nina Simone. They share the stage with the original Nina Simone Band, led by Nina's music director Al Shackman on guitar and vibes and featuring Geri Allen on piano. Songs like "Four Women", "I Loves Your Porgy", "My Baby Just Cares For Me" and "Lilac Wine" will evoke the memory, celebrate the creative spirit and introduce a new audience to the legend that is Miss Nina Simone.
